Amazing experience!✨ Thank you for such a beautiful week in Morocco! Gorgeous team - everyone was sooo kind, observant and helpful! The rooms were beautiful, clean and we had everything what we needed. And yoga with the view from rooftop... just WOW. The food was always delicious. The surf lessons were wonderful, I loved them sooo much! Really the best surf instructors ever🏄🏽♀️ Thank you for such amazing experience, I'll definitely come back soon😊🇲🇦

I had the most amazing time at Residence. I’ve traveled to many places, but the warmth and energy I felt there are not that common. It’s a beautiful place, super cozy, clean, and the food is delicious. Everything was honestly 10/10. But the best part was the people. Thanks to everyone for making my stay so special, especially Khalid, Athena, Ahmed, Hazna, Mohammed, and Aicha 💛 I will definitely come back

I had a beautiful stay at Residence Imsouane and would recommend everyone who's going to Imsouane to stay at this house. The whole team was so lovely and helpful. The house and the rooms are very nicely decorated, comfortable and super clean. If you've the choice I would recommend to book a room on the upper floor (I stayed in room "Sunset") because you've got beautiful view to the mountains and the ocean (watching sunset from the balcony is amazing). Food is delicious and typical moroccan style - really nice flavours! Thanks to everyone for welcoming me there.

I had a truly wonderful experience! Everything exceeded my expectations from the very beginning. The atmosphere was warm and easygoing, the staff was exceptionally kind and supportive, and the place instantly felt like home. Thanks to them, my first impression of Morocco couldn’t have been better. Well-organized surf sessions, great food, beautiful surroundings, and amazing energy. What makes this place so special? The incredible warmth and hospitality of the team. You're welcomed with kindness and a chill energy by a group of family and friends. Yes the room's are great, the pool lovely and the views stunning and the food is exceptional and the surf lessons are oitstanding, but it's the kindness and warmth that is most impactful. LITERALLY THE BEST WEEK OF MY LIFE !! Could not be more grateful to Ayoub and his team, honestly the kindest, funniest and most accommodating people I have ever met. They made every single one of our requests come true to give us the holiday of a lifetime. Two of us stayed and did the full surf package for a week (shoutout Ahmed for having the patience of a SAINT whilst teaching me), and every single moment was perfect 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼. An amazing surf camp in a beautiful surfers paradise. The facilities were 10/10: rooms super comfortable, lovely pool, rooftop terrace/yoga space but more importantly the service provided was excellent. Amazing surf lessons and delicious food, the staff that worked there went above and beyond to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable trip. My second time staying here and I will definitely be back again 💛

I loved Imsouane, loved staying at ResidenceImsouane but most of all loved the team there. Kind, thoughtful and ever helpful. I was there on a solo surf trip and it was a perfect base - I’d pick up my board and wetsuit from the rack just after dawn for an early surf before breakfast. Relax by the pool, head down the harbour or check out the town during the day, before a sunset surf again pre dinner. With the perfect hard longboard for me to enjoy the longest wave you’ll ever ride! Immaculate and beautifully furnished rooms, plenty of hot water and comfortable beds. Stay here and feel part of the family 🙂

Residence Imsouane Surf Camp is a boutique surf haven located just a 4-minute walk (400m) from Plage d'Imsouane (The Bay). We offer stylish private and shared rooms, ocean-view balconies, an infinity pool, an on-site family-friendly restaurant, high-quality gear rentals, surf skate coaching, rooftop yoga, and ISA-certified surf lessons for all levels.
Yes! In fact, Imsouane's "Magic Bay" (La Baie) is widely considered one of the best and safest beginner and longboard waves in the entire world. The wave breaks gently over a smooth sandy bottom with very little current, offering extraordinarily long, mellow rides (up to 800 meters!) that give learners maximum time to stand up, balance, and practice turns.
Imsouane gets waves 365 days a year! For beginners and longboarders, September through May offers consistent, clean, head-high swells with sunny offshore conditions. Summer (June–August) has pleasant smaller waves ideal for beginners and relaxed logging. The winter months (November–March) bring powerful Atlantic groundswells that light up Cathedral Point for intermediate and advanced rippers.
Imsouane has two legendary surf spots separated by a small headland: 1) The Bay (La Baie): A sand-bottom point break world-famous for the longest right-hander in Africa (rides up to 2 minutes!). Mellow, rolling, and beginner/longboard heaven. 2) Cathedral Point: A punchier, faster reef-and-sand break offering hollow sections, steep drop-ins, and both lefts and rights. Perfect for shortboarders, fish riders, and advanced maneuvers.
On a good swell at low-to-mid tide, a single ride from the outside peak past the harbor jetty into the beach can run over 800 meters (lasting between 90 seconds and 2+ minutes!). Your legs will burn from sheer joy before the wave even finishes!
The Bay works best on low to mid rising tide, when the sandbank creates the ideal peel angle. Cathedral Point can work through all tides but is especially fun on mid to high tide when the wave wraps into the bay and forms steep shoulders.
Water temperature ranges from 16°C–18°C in winter to 19°C–21°C in summer and autumn. A standard 3/2mm full wetsuit is perfect year-round. If you don't own one or don't want to travel heavy, all our packages include premium Billabong and Rip Curl wetsuits in all sizes!
Yes! We have an extensive quiver of over 70 surfboards: soft-top learner boards (from 7'0 to 9'0), classic PU single-fin longboards, modern high-performance shortboards, and Torq epoxy shapes. Daily 2-hour coaching lessons with video analysis and theory are available every day.
Imsouane has limited ATM availability, and local village machines can occasionally run out of cash during high season. We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard) at Residence Imsouane, as well as Euros, US Dollars, and Moroccan Dirhams. We recommend withdrawing some cash at Agadir or Essaouira airport upon arrival for local village souvenirs and small cafe snacks.
