Our Story
Ayoub, co-founder of Residence Imsouane Surf Camp, has always been the kind of person who can’t sit still when there’s a better way to do things. Growing up between the Atlas foothills and the Atlantic, he watched travelers arrive in Imsouane searching for two things: unforgettable waves and a feeling of belonging. Too often, they found one without the other.
“I wanted to build a place where surfers and families feel at home the second they drop their bags,” Ayoub says.
“A place that’s part surf camp, part Moroccan guesthouse, and 100% Imsouane.”
What started as a simple idea, fresh coffee at sunrise, long lines at the Bay, sharing tajines under the stars became a promise: to craft experiences that make every guest’s time in Imsouane unique. Together with a small local team, Ayoub shaped a home for wave-chasers, wellness seekers, and easy-going travelers: comfortable rooms with sea or mountain views, an infinity pool for golden-hour dips, yoga on the terrace, and a kitchen that celebrates Morocco’s flavors (with halal, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options).
Today, Residence Imsouane Surf Camp is a few sandy steps from both the Bay and Cathedral surf spots. It’s where first green waves, new friendships, and slow mornings all meet. It’s the Imsouane pace of life thoughtfully hosted.
