I had the most amazing time at Residence. I’ve traveled to many places, but the warmth and energy I felt there are not that common. It’s a beautiful place, super cozy, clean, and the food is delicious. Everything was honestly 10/10. But the best part was the people. Thanks to everyone for making my stay so special, especially Khalid, Athena, Ahmed, Hazna, Mohammed, and Aicha 💛 I will definitely come back

I had a beautiful stay at Residence Imsouane and would recommend everyone who's going to Imsouane to stay at this house. The whole team was so lovely and helpful. The house and the rooms are very nicely decorated, comfortable and super clean.
If you've the choice I would recommend to book a room on the upper floor (I stayed in room "Sunset") because you've got beautiful view to the mountains and the ocean (watching sunset from the balcony is amazing).
Food is delicious and typical moroccan style - really nice flavours! Thanks to everyone for welcoming me there.

I had a truly wonderful experience! Everything exceeded my expectations from the very beginning. The atmosphere was warm and easygoing, the staff was exceptionally kind and supportive, and the place instantly felt like home. Thanks to them, my first impression of Morocco couldn’t have been better. Well-organized surf sessions, great food, beautiful surroundings, and amazing energy. Could not be more grateful to Ayoub and his team, honestly the kindest, funniest and most accommodating people I have ever met. They made every single one of our requests come true to give us the holiday of a lifetime. An amazing surf camp in a beautiful surfers paradise.
The facilities were 10/10: rooms super comfortable, lovely pool, rooftop terrace/yoga space but more importantly the service provided was excellent. Amazing surf lessons and delicious food, the staff that worked there went above and beyond to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable trip.
My second time staying here and I will definitely be back again 💛

I loved Imsouane, loved staying at ResidenceImsouane but most of all loved the team there.
Kind, thoughtful and ever helpful.
I was there on a solo surf trip and it was a perfect base - I’d pick up my board and wetsuit from the rack just after dawn for an early surf before breakfast. Relax by the pool, head down the harbour or check out the town during the day, before a sunset surf again pre dinner.
With the perfect hard longboard for me to enjoy the longest wave you’ll ever ride!
Immaculate and beautifully furnished rooms, plenty of hot water and comfortable beds.
Stay here and feel part of the family 🙂

La Residence Imsouane Surf Camp est un surf camp boutique situé à 4 minutes à pied (400 m) de la plage d’Imsouane (la Baie). Nous proposons des chambres privées et partagées, des balcons vue mer, une piscine à débordement, un restaurant familial sur place, la location de matériel de qualité, du coaching en surf skate, du yoga sur le rooftop et des cours de surf certifiés ISA pour tous les niveaux.
Imsouane est-il adapté aux débutants ?
Oui ! La « Magic Bay » d’Imsouane (la Baie) est considérée comme l’une des meilleures et des plus sûres vagues au monde pour les débutants et le longboard. La vague déferle doucement sur un fond de sable avec très peu de courant et offre des rides extrêmement longs et tranquilles (jusqu’à 800 mètres !), parfaits pour apprendre à se lever, à trouver l’équilibre et à travailler les virages.
Quelle est la meilleure période pour surfer à Imsouane ?
Il y a des vagues à Imsouane 365 jours par an ! Pour les débutants et les longboarders, de septembre à mai, la houle est régulière, propre et à hauteur de tête, avec du vent offshore et du soleil. L’été (juin à août) apporte des vagues plus petites, idéales pour débuter et pour le longboard tranquille. L’hiver (novembre à mars) amène de grosses houles de l’Atlantique qui font fonctionner Cathedral Point pour les surfeurs intermédiaires et confirmés.
La Baie ou Cathedral : quelle différence ?
Imsouane compte deux spots de surf légendaires séparés par une petite pointe :
1) La Baie : un point break sur fond de sable célèbre pour la plus longue droite d’Afrique (des rides jusqu’à 2 minutes !). Douce, régulière, le paradis des débutants et du longboard.
2) Cathedral Point : une vague plus puissante et plus rapide sur fond de roche et de sable, avec des sections creuses, des take-off raides, des gauches et des droites. Parfaite pour le shortboard, les fish et les manœuvres avancées.
Combien de temps peut durer une vague dans la Baie ?
Par bonne houle, à marée basse à mi-marée, un seul ride depuis le pic extérieur jusqu’à la plage, en passant la jetée du port, peut dépasser 800 mètres (entre 90 secondes et plus de 2 minutes !). Vos jambes brûleront de joie avant même la fin de la vague !
Quelle marée est la meilleure ?
La Baie fonctionne le mieux de marée basse à mi-marée montante, quand le banc de sable donne l’angle de déroulé idéal. Cathedral Point fonctionne à toutes les marées, mais elle est particulièrement fun de mi-marée à marée haute, quand la vague s’enroule dans la baie et forme des épaules raides.
Quelle est la température de l’eau et quelle combinaison prévoir ?
L’eau varie de 16–18 °C en hiver à 19–21 °C en été et en automne. Une combinaison intégrale 3/2 mm convient toute l’année. Si vous n’en avez pas ou voyagez léger, tous nos séjours incluent des combinaisons Billabong et Rip Curl dans toutes les tailles !
Louez-vous des planches et donnez-vous des cours ?
Oui ! Nous avons plus de 70 planches : softboards pour débuter (de 7’0 à 9’0), longboards single fin classiques en PU, shortboards performants et modèles Torq en époxy. Des cours de surf de 2 heures avec analyse vidéo et théorie ont lieu tous les jours.
Y a-t-il des distributeurs à Imsouane ?
Les distributeurs sont rares à Imsouane et peuvent être vides en haute saison. Nous acceptons les cartes bancaires (Visa, Mastercard) à la Residence Imsouane, ainsi que les euros, les dollars américains et les dirhams marocains. Nous conseillons de retirer un peu d’espèces à l’aéroport d’Agadir ou d’Essaouira à l’arrivée pour les souvenirs et les petits cafés du village.
